So I technically start my dream job tomorrow :)

“Dream Job”. That’s a big claim. But that’s just coming from someone that dreams a lot. I just AM a dreamer.

(I mean, I also had my dream dinner tonight…soup dumplings. NOM.)

But whatever…for my current state in life and mind, tomorrow I start the dream career I’ve wanted for years. It’s horrifying and exciting all at the same time…it feels kind of like when you’re scared to jump into a pool or ocean of cold water, even though it’s hot as hell out…just because you know your body is going to have to abruptly adjust to the change.

It’s kind of a career change, too. Even though interactive design is STILL design…I was formally trained in “Brand Packaging Design” at FIT. Perhaps it helped lots that I procrastinated that homework with web/interactive freelance work…

Anyway, day 1 begins at Code and Theory tomorrow, as a Junior Interactive Designer! Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about this opportunity…and  like I said in a previous entry…

But sometimes, like how a parent will take their bratty kid for an ice cream cone, we’re blessed by God anyway just because we’re loved and looked after…not because we’re perfect.
